## We're two brothers obsessed with bread

While other kids screamed for ice cream, we begged for beautiful, crusty sourdough bread (thanks @mom). Now, we bring that same excitement to every bag of Kooshy!

## Bread is joy!

Bread has always been the #1 food in our family. Growing up, our mom called croutons “salad training wheels.” We were obsessed with them, but let’s be real – the ones in store looked like they’ve been stuck on the shelf since 1985. So in 2020, we decided to change that and started making our own (way better, way cleaner) croutons. **I** n 2024, we launched Panko Breadcrumbs because so many of our favorite recipes used them and the options on shelf were super _stale_ (sorry, had to). Most recently, we added our third sweet lil' member of the Kooshy family...Sourdough Stuffing! 🥹

## Quality Matters

We're the 1st + only Non-GMO Project Verified crouton, breadcrumb and instant stuffing. Plus we have vegan friendly options unlike other folks that toss a “butter flavor” into their products. We've baked the tastiest crouton with the perfect texture. Not too crunchy, not too light, just right! Same goes for our panko breadcrumbs – your _crispy_ chicken cutlets will thank you 🍞😊

## Okay, but what does "Kooshy" mean?

Kooshy represents our lifelong love of artisan bread making. A _couche_(pronounced " **koosh**") is a special cloth used to shape and proof bread to perfection. At **Kooshy**, we use the highest quality, non-GMO ingredients to make croutons & breadcrumbs with the perfect taste & texture – after all, **bread is joy!**
